Abstract: Promoting patriotism education through education in rule of law, and promoting patriotism education through the form and function of legal education have prominent practical significance in the current complex international situation of China and in the context of the the deep-water area of reform entering a critical period. The urgent need for patriotic education in reality determines the inevitability of the simultaneous development of legal education and patriotism education. The theoretical connection between the two is a prerequisite for the generation of this concept, providing practical operability for promoting patriotism education based on legal education. As a socialist country under the people's democratic dictatorship, the law of socialist society must also promote the spirit of patriotism and require the governance of morality and law. Patriotic rule of law education is of great significance for promoting socialist core values and the "Four Confidences" regulating young people's behavior and thoughts, cultivating their safety awareness and patriotism. Therefore, it is necessary to develop a patriotic legal education strategy based on the logical path of "knowledge system-education system-learning platform" so as to promote and deepen patriotic legal education.
