Abstract The explosive growth of the inbound tourism market at its current stage has imposed higher requirements on tourism English translation. Based on the theoretical framework of Eco-Translatology and applying the three-dimensional transformation theory, this study systematically analyzes and investigates the English translation strategies and methods of bilingual (Chinese-English) guide texts in Kulangsu, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, in three dimensions: the "linguistic dimension" "cultural dimension" and "communicative dimension". The findings aim to provide references for English translations of tourism texts in other regions, thereby facilitating the international dissemination of regional culture and the flourishing development of foreign-related tourism.
