Abstract "Jihua Spirit" is the spiritual model of China's chemical industry, it is necessary to integrate it into "Four Histories" education of ideological and political courses in colleges and universities. The reason why it is possible to integrate "Jihua Spirit" into the "Four Histories" education of ideological and political courses in colleges and universities is that it fits with the educational goals of the history of the Party, the history of China, the history of reform and opening up and the history of socialist development. Universities and colleges can achieve the effective integration of the "Jihua Spirit" and "Four Histories" education by exploring the paths of "Red Classroom Education", "Red Practice Education" and "Red Publicity Education".
