Abstract As the mental problems of college students keep increasing, constructing a mental health education system suitable for the growth and development of college students has become an increasingly urgent need. From the perspective of counselors, the necessity of mental health education for college students is analyzed. In view of the problems existing in the current mental health education work for college students, the ways of constructing a long-term mental health education system are proposed.
