Abstract: The rapid advancement of information technology has profoundly impacted higher education while presenting new challenges for university mathematics teachers. This study focuses on mathematics teachers in application-oriented universities, by analyzing the current state of their technology-enhanced teaching competency development, the research explores pathways to improve their informatization teaching skills from both teacher and institutional perspectives. The findings aim to provide theoretical insights and practical recommendations for mathematics teachers to adapt to digital teaching demands and address technological challenges.
