The quantity and quality of the students can provide sufficient personnel guarantee for the development of reading promotion in colleges and universities.在Based on the current research status of reading promoters in colleges and universities, a questionnaire survey was conducted among the students from three science and engineering colleges, Harbin University of Science and Technology, Jilin Institute of Chemical Technology, and Guangdong Vocational College of Science and Technology. Using the software of SPSS, the author analyzes the students' cognition, participation, evaluation and cultivation status of reading promoter activities and summarizes the potential feasibility and existing problems of the students' as reading promoters, and gives five suggestions for the cultivation of this group. And this paper also probes into the cultivation mode of reading promoters orienting to science and engineering students.
