Exploration of the Reform of the Practical Teaching System for Provincial First-Class Undergraduate Major in Materials Science and Engineering under the Background of "New Engineering"

Based on the connotation of "New Engineering" and the construction goals of provincial-level first-class undergraduate majors, with the goal of improving students' ability to solve practical problems, the practical teaching system of Materials Science and Engineering has been optimized. The professional practical teaching system will be built around "one characteristic, one support, and three levels", with "collaborative education between industry, academia, and research" as the characteristic, and the school-enterprise cooperation education base represented by Carbon Fiber and Composite Materials Modern Industry College built on the basis of the cooperation of Jilin institute of Chemical Technology and Jilin Chemical Fiber Group Co., Ltd. It will be based on three levels: experimental project reform and innovation, internship and practical training project reform and innovation, and college student innovation and entrepreneurship project expansion training. We have established a practical teaching system for Materials Science and Engineering, with the aim of providing reference for the construction of provincial-level first-class undergraduate majors in the "new engineering" field that serves the local economy.

Investigation and Analysis of Online Physical Chemistry Teaching Effect of College Students

Affected by the epidemic in 2022, our school adopted online teaching methods to carry out teaching activities. In order to assess the college students' participation in online physical chemistry learning and the effectiveness of online teaching of physical chemistry, a questionnaire survey was conducted among 635 students in our school. The survey results showed that 72.91% of the students were satisfied with the effect of online physical chemistry teaching. After the resumption of offline teaching, 55.26% of students were willing to take physical chemistry courses in a online and offline combination. We should take this online teaching as an opportunity to encourage teachers to make full use of information technology and integrate teaching with the development of school information technology and promote the information-based teaching of physical chemistry in our school.

Materials Chemistry is a compulsory course for Materials Science and Engineering majors in Jilin Institute of Chemical Technology. It has a rich knowledge system which integrates the efforts and achievements of generations of scientists. According to the characteristics of this professional course, in the course of teaching, the reform and practice of ideological and political teaching of Materials Chemistry are carried out by enriching ideological and political teaching content, exploring diversified teaching modes and improving teachers' ability, so as to improve students' quality in the process of accumulating the knowledge of professional courses, which is helpful to truly realize the dual cultivation of moral and intellectual learning of professional courses.

The necessity of integrating ideological and political education into engineering training courses was analyzed, and the common problems in the integration of ideological and political education into engineering training courses were summarized. Based on the actual situation of engineering training courses at Northeast Electric Power University, this study explores the construction of a curriculum ideological and political education system with the research objectives of work mechanism, teaching design, faculty development, and evaluation system. The work mechanism serves as the foundation, teaching design as the core, faculty development as the guarantee, and evaluation system as the benchmark. Through the scientific and reasonable construction of the system, the organic integration of engineering training courses and ideological and political education can be better achieved, and engineering and technical personnel with good moral and ethical qualities can be cultivated.

The project-based management of work tasks is the basic work of administrative management in colleges and universities. In order to implement projectization management, we should combine project declaration with administrative management, combine primary tasks with development strategies, and combine task integration with project optimization. The talent training system regards the students'vocational ability as core training target, innovation and entrepreneurial ability as training specification. Our college categorizes teaching management into four types, including mechanism, task, project and characteristic and takesthem as administrative impetus. The colleges' management level and efficiency have been greatly improved after implementing this system for several years by improving the management team's perspective and executive ability.
