Abstract
This paper introduces the characteristics and the problems of experiment teaching in the local engineering colleges in the context of the transformation of the local colleges. It discusses the effective methods of conducting experiment teaching and how to strengthen the students' scientific research ability and improve the quality of cultivating innovative applied talents.
