A Study on College English Teaching of Chinese-foreign Cooperatively-run Education in Local Engineering Universities Based on The Educational Concept of OBE
College English teaching is an integral part of Chinese higher education. In Chinese-foreign cooperatively-run education program, college English teaching is set up to meet the needs of international high-quality talents. The guarntee of the quality of college English teaching is an important condition for the sustainable development of Chinese-foreign cooperatively-run education. Students are required not only to meet the higher, even the highest requirements of college English teaching, understand the professional courses taught in English, but also pass the English test. How students of local engineering universities can successfully adapt to the English teaching of specialized courses after one year of college English learning is still a prominent challenge in the current Chinese-foreign cooperatively-run education operation. According to the characteristics of local engineering universities,it is proposed to organize college English teaching in accordance with the concept of OBE education, and to improve the effectiveness of college English teaching in Chinese-foreign cooperative education based on professional achievements, so as to realize the goal of personnel training in Chinese-foreign cooperatively-run education.
