Abstract The researcher studies Matsuo Basho's classic Haiku works and analyzed his creative practice in exploring and transcending the "implicit" artistic elements of Tang Poetry and Song Ci from two aspects: the borrowing and integration of imagery and the comprehension and recreation of the state of mind with the aim of revealing Basho's unique contributions in cross-cultural creation.
