Abstract According to the requirements of the program for cultivating outstanding engineers, in order to continuously improve the course construction and enhance the quality of course teaching, the main problems in the current construction of the "Chemical Technology" course were analyzed, and reform solutions were proposed from the perspectives of improving the course content, improving the teaching organization form and teaching method, and strengthening the construction of the science and engineering teacher team, which could serve as a reference for the reform of professional courses.
