Abstract This paper explores the significance and practical pathways to constructing a personalized employment guidance system for college students. It elaborates on the background and value of personalized employment guidance, highlighting its crucial role in addressing changes in the employment market, enhancing the quality of talent cultivation, and promoting the rational allocation of social human resources. The paper then analyzes the connotation of personalized employment guidance and identifies challenges in its implementation. Finally, it proposes practical pathways to improving the personalized employment guidance system. The construction of a personalized employment guidance system for college students requires the joint efforts of multiple parties to enhance the employment competitiveness of college students and promote the sustainable development of their careers.
