Abstract In order to integrate the enhancement of students' thinking abilities into the teaching of the "Hydraulic and Pneumatic Transmission Technology" course, a reform of the teaching model for this vocational course has been undertaken. By organizing the course's knowledge framework, refining the connections between different knowledge points, and improving the quality of classroom discussion guidance, this paper provides a detailed introduction to the main methods and implementation of the course reform. Additionally, insights and experiences gained from several rounds of practice are shared.
