Abstract Marx's ecological thought represents a significant theoretical achievement in his exploration of the relationship between humans and nature. From the perspective of its intellectual context and development path, Marx interpreted the human-nature relationship by grounding it in concrete human productive activities, thereby completing an interpretation of the tripartite unity of humanity, nature, and society within the framework of historical materialism. Theoretical, practical, and value dimensions constitute the three primary approaches through which Marx elucidated the human-nature relationship. This ideology provides crucial theoretical guidance for ecological civilization construction in the new era and charts a path toward harmonizing human-nature relations.
