Abstract The intimate relationship between academic culture and graduate education, as well as its significance to the development of higher education in China, is explored in this paper. Through an analysis of the connotations and fundamental characteristics of academic culture, the logical alignment between academic culture and graduate education is thoroughly examined. Additionally, measures to elevate the academic standards and comprehensive competencies of graduate education in China are proposed from multiple perspectives. In alignment with the new curriculum standards and national policies, the profound impacts of academic culture on graduate education are analyzed, and specific strategies and measures to promote the construction of academic culture are proposed.
