Abstract This paper explores the talent cultivation path for English majors in response to the current situation and problems of innovative education. Against the backdrop of globalization, English majors are required to possess innovative thinking and entrepreneurial capabilities. As a result, interdisciplinary elements should be integrated into the curriculum to help students develop their innovative abilities; the teaching process should stimulate students’ critical thinking skills; and the practical training should provide scenarios for applying theoretical knowledge, thereby enhancing students’ entrepreneurial qualities. Through the combination of multiple measures, an educational environment that integrates theory and practice and encourages innovation and entrepreneurship will be constructed, aiming to cultivate English majors with a global perspective, innovative spirit, and entrepreneurial capabilities.
