Abstract The integrated construction of ideological and political education in primary, secondary schools and universities is a significant measure for schools to implement the fundamental task of "fostering virtue through education" and serves as a strong guarantee for training socialist builders and successors. At present, the integration of ideological and political education in China's primary and secondary schools and universities is in the early stage of construction. In the context of the new era, practical and effective measures should be taken from the aspects of teaching contents, practical activities of "collaborative ideological and political education", virtual teaching and research platforms, and evaluation systems, so as to improve the overall management through top-level design, explore feasible practical paths, and improve the collaborative education mechanisms from the perspective of "collaborative ideological and political education", thereby promoting the integration of ideological and political education in primary, secondary schools and universities.
