Optimization for Soxhlet Extraction of Total Flavonoids from Eggplant Root by Using Response Surface Methodology

Response surface methodology was applied to optimize the soxhlet extraction of total flavonoids from
eggplant root. The optimum particle size 50mu of eggplant root powder was determined by the relationship
between the pretreatment and extraction rate of eggplant root. Thanol concentration
,
extraction time and the
amount of solvent were selected as the investigation factors and the yield of total flavonoids was used as the
response values.On the basis of single factor experiment
,
the extraction process of total flavonoids was optimized
by using the response surface methodology.Experiment result showed that the ptimum extraction technology was
determined as follows
:
ethanol concentration 42%
,
extraction time 3.5h
,
the amount of solvent 26ml / g
,
powder
mesh of 50.Under the optimum extraction conditions
,
the predictive and experimental values of total flavonoids
from eggplant root were 0.424% and 0.425%
,
respectively

the relative error between themwas 0.24%.

In this paper

we develop a new type pneumatic space bending flexible joint

composed of elastic rubber tube and constrain components. The joint is equivalent to three artificial muscle
connected in parallel

which has three degrees of freedom.The joint can elongate in axial direction and bend
arbitrarily in space when supplied the air pressure.The axial elongation and space bending of the joint has been
done by the experimental device and the relationship deformation of joint and air pressure is required.The study
of this paper laid the foundation for further application of the joint.

The transalkylation of dinonylphenol with phenol was carried out using a batch reactor with sulfonie
acid io-exchange polystyrene resin as catalysts.The composition and mechanical properties of sulfonated resin
were characterized by FTIR and particle strength test. Results show that the optimal reaction condition is as
