In the new era, in order to carry out ideological and political work throughout the whole process of education and teaching, and to realize the full-range and all-round education of foreign language courses, it is necessary to reform college English teaching in view of the lack of Chinese ideological and cultural content in textbooks, the lack of ideological and political education elements in teaching priorities, and the outdated methods of ideological and political education. Cheng carried out ideological and political transformation. College English teaching team should explore the development of ideological and political education resources, the combination of "the first and second classes" in teaching design, the integration of ideological and political education content into the whole curriculum system, and the improvement of teachers’ ability, so as to construct a new pattern of "ideological and political theories teaching" in college English curriculum and reshape the connotation of College English teaching.

With the continuous reform of electronic information teaching and the comprehensive training of Engineering application-oriented talents, ARCS motivation model is applied to the practical teaching of digital electronic technology in this paper. In order to improve the teaching effect of practical courses and cultivate high-quality electronic information talents, three parts of curriculum arrangement, in-class teaching and out-of-class teaching are designed respectively through four dimensions of attention, association, confidence and satisfaction, and challenge of the motivational model is analyzed. which can provide some reference for the reform of practical teaching.

Practical teaching is the key process to improve innovative practical ability of undergraduates, and plays an important role in professional cultivation of universities. Under the background of Engineering Education Accreditation, this paper makes a systematic analysis of the existing practical teaching system on the basis of "General Standard of Accreditation" and "Professional Supplementary Standard", also combined with the orientation of professional training and the characteristics of safety engineering major in Jilin Institute of Chemical Technology. It also puts forward some optimization strategies, such as construction of teaching quality standard, the joint education of universities and enterprises, the optimization and integration of resources, the "practice teaching of double teachers" and so on. It provides positive suggestions and references for effectively improving the practical teaching effect of safety engineering major and improving the teaching quality.
