The curriculum is the carrier of the cultivation of human beings. The university curriculum should be helpful to the cultivation of moral character, the growth of talent, and the growth and all-round development of college students' personality. At present, the main problems that affect the function of education in colleges and universities are the problems of teachers' morality, evaluation and teaching content. The educational function of the curriculum can be realized by improving the quality of the teachers, reforming the curriculum evaluation system，exploring the educational characteristics of the content and strengthening teaching management.

In order to achieve the goal of talent training, that is "thick foundation, wide caliber, strong ability, high quality", broad categories of training mode have been carried out in many universities of China. In this paper, the necessity and feasibility of developing broad categories of training mode in the School of Materials Science and Engineering of Jilin Institute of Chemical Technology have been discussed according to the reality. The idea of constructing the curriculum system of materials specialties based on the broad categories of training mode are put forward as well.

In this paper, the blueprint and principles for constructing the Base for Excellent Engineer Training are proposed based on the "Guidelines of the Ministry of Education for Implementing Excellent Engineer Training Program". The overall training procedure, the practice bases selection methods and the cooperation framework agreement with practice bases are introduced in details. The management of the practice procedure are developed and the practice contents with new evaluation approaches are designed to provide a solid base to achieve the goal of Excellent Engineer Training Program.

Pipeline Engineering is the basic course and an important one among the courses for environmental engineering majors. The teaching and research is explored on the basis of the need of cultivating applied talents, which includes reasonable adjustment of the courses, combination of practice with theoretical teaching, diversification of teaching and assessment modes. In order to adapt to the requirements for training applied personnel, great importance has been attached to cultivating the students' practice and innovation ability with the purpose of stimulating the students′ interest in learning, unburdening the student s′ schoolwork and improving the quality of teaching.

Teaching of thermology is necessary in achieving the objective of cultivating science undergraduates with a complete physical knowledge system. In order to enrich the teaching content and improve the teaching quality, it is very effective and necessary to use the relevant historical facts and integrate the relevant theories of materialist dialectics into the teaching process, which can not only stimulate the students' interest in learning, but also promote the students' understanding of relevant knowledge. At the same time, it can also help cultivate the students' correct world outlooks, improve their humanistic quality, and realize the teaching purpose of cultivating innovative and high-quality talents.

The "3+2" cultivating mode of higher vocational and undergraduate students is an effective way to cultivate application-oriented high-tech talents.In view of the characteristics of oil-gas storage and transportation engineering (undergraduate) and aviation fuel major (higher vocational) in our college, the exploration and practice of the "3+2" cultivating mode is carried out. With the aim of cultivating application-oriented high-tech talents, the talents training program and curriculum system of each stage are established to achieve a seamless effect. At the same time, it will provide some reference and help for colleges and universities that will develop the "3+2" cultivating mode.

A case study is conducted at the intersectional talent training between inorganic nonmetallic materials and metallic materials within the confine of Materials Science and Engineering specialty in Jilin Institute of Chemical Technology. On the basis of curriculum system of Materials Science and Engineering specialty, the necessity of training intersectional talents of the two disciplines－inorganic nonmetallic materials and metallic materials is analyzed, as well as the exploration and practice, existential problems and solutions.

It is an urgent and important task to apply industry-university-research cooperation mode into its practice teaching system. Then on how to complete this task, this paper offers a feasible a way by combining the successful experience at home and abroad with the author' experience of studying abroad, which provides certain reference for applied talent training mode.

Food Safety is an important compulsory course for undergraduates majoring in Food Science and Engineering. according to the characteristics of this course, the author carries out practical teaching reform from the aspects of training objectives, teaching methods and assessment methods. The class of 2017 students of this major acceptedthe reform and obtained better teaching effect compared with the class of 2013 and 2016 who have been trained under the traditional teaching mode.

One of the ways for cultivating students' intercultural communicative competence based on the local international education model is to use the visual and fascinating features of film and television programs to stimulate students' interest in learning and abstract thinking. This article chooses Kung Fu Panda 3, which is a representative fusion of Chinese and Western cultural characteristics. It is an animated film produced by American DreamWorks and Oriental DreamWorks. In the analysis of the works, the iceberg theory is used to hierarchically decode the cross-cultural factors in the film, and concludes with cross-cultural sociological thinking. At the same time, it emphasizes the important role of the cross-cultural layered decoding existing in film and television programs for cultivating students' intercultural communication skills.

Together with the development of "Internet+", "Internet+ " teaching has become an important direction of College Mathematics teaching reform. Due to the restriction of textbooks, teaching methods and teaching concepts, College Mathematics classroom teaching has exposed with many problems such as backward ideas, inappropriate methods, lack of interaction and dull content. All the above affects the teaching effect directly. Therefore, we should examine the problems in the context of "Internet+ " Teaching, optimize the teaching idea with the Internet thinking, and optimize the teaching process and mode with Internet technology, so as to achieve the innovative development of college mathematics classroom teaching.

The integration of cultural self-confidence into ideological and political education not only helps to improve the effectiveness of ideological and political education, but also contributes to the cultivation of college students' cultural self-confidence. The urgent work now is to find out the main reasons for the lack of confidence in college students and to find its solution. Cultural self-confidence education must be integrated into ideological and political education so as to enhance college students' national self-esteem, self-confidence and sense of proud and achieve the goal of college education.

The new era endows college counselors with a new historical mission and a new historical responsibility. Counselors play the main role in ideological and political education in the process of students' development. With the rapid development of China's higher vocational education, many difficulties have been encountered in organization management and assessment monitoring of the post practice. Based on the in-depth analysis of the relevant problems in post practice and in accordance with our school's actual conditions, the post practice model of “school-enterprise cooperation, major-oriented, diffuse practice, multi-tiered management and connecting with employment” is discussed in this paper. To some extent, the problems emerging from the post practice are resolved, improving the quality of post practice.

Embedded training is based on the deep cooperation between         the schools and the enterprises, and it is to embed the requirements for production skill needed by the enterprises into the vocational training standards. Chagan lake has already started the construction of the Tourism Economic Development Zone, but there are still some imperfect places and some defects. This article put forward reasonable suggestions on the basis of the construction of the existing zone. People should made use of Chagan lake to make it more famous and high-level tourist resort. At the same time, attention should be given to the sustainable development of resources so that Chagan lake can develop well both now and in the future.

This paper first expounds the significance of service socialization in local university libraries, and then takes university libraries in Jilin as examples to analyze the advantages and current situation of the service socialization in the local university libraries; it discusses the factors limiting the service and puts forward the optimal strategy for it in the local university libraries.
