Abstract
The Indian Ocean is an important route of China's "Maritime Silk Road". The necessity of vocational education cooperation between China and the Indian Ocean island countries around Africa is first reflected in the fact that the opening up of China's vocational education to the outside world can expand the international influence of Chinese education. Second, there is an urgent need to upgrade the level of Vocational Education in the development of the island countries around the Indian Ocean in Africa, including the contradiction between the rapidly growing population and the depressed economic level, as well as the contradiction between the serious lack of labor skills and the limited educational resources. The ways of vocational education cooperation between China and African island countries around the Indian Ocean include making full use of bilateral advantages to achieve win-win outcomes in education, promoting collaboration among government, enterprises and schools, promoting diversification of exchanges and creating compound applied talents.
