A case study of advanced design and additive manufacturing intelligent learning workshop (2020) project is conducted in the research and the employment-oriented personnel training mode is explored from background, talents cultivation methods, main construction content and the expected results. The author put forward the concrete methods to deepen the integration of production and education and promote students' employment competitiveness. The research results show that the talent training mode with employment as the guidance plays effective role in solving the problem encountered in the last phase of employment for enterprises and students.
