Abstract
The characteristics of air quality evolution in Jilin City during the heating period were studied by using the real-time atmospheric environmental monitoring data released by Jilin Environmental Protection Monitoring Center. The trend of monthly average mass concentration of articulate matters (PM10), PM2.5,SO2, NO2, and O3, the evolution characteristics, and the changing rules in different functional areas were analyzed. The results show that the concentration of atmospheric pollutants had obvious spatial-temporal evolution characteristics. The pollutants during the heat supply period were mainly affected by the coal-fired heating, and the major pollutants were particulate matters. The pollution situation in the industrial area was more serious comparing with those in other functional areas.
