Abstract Based on the actual needs of the team construction of young teachers in colleges and universities in the new situation, the current situation of the ideological and political education of young teachers in colleges and universities was analyzed. To improve the mechanism and find the four focus points of ideological and political education of young teachers in colleges and universities, a new path of ideological and political education of young teachers in colleges and universities from the perspective of fostering virtue through education was put forward in this paper. It also provides some reference for the team construction of young teachers in colleges and universities.
