In order to improve the engineering practice ability, engineering consciousness, engineering quality and independent innovation ability of the college students, based on engineering training project of industry-university-research cooperation of our university, the paper analyzes some problems existing in the current engineering training teaching, explores the students' ideology, curriculum structure, scientific research level and technical ability of the teachers, as a result, the teaching contents and methods of engineering training are optimized.
