Abstract Translation, as a crucial pathway for cross-cultural communication, plays a vital role in deepening the connection between China and the world. From the perspective of cross-cultural communication, this paper studies the translation problems and cross-cultural opportunities faced by the ice-snow economy in Jilin Province at three levels: terminology translation, cultural transfer and talent cultivation. It explores how to overcome cultural barriers and promote resource integration by optimizing translation strategies, so as to achieve breakthroughs and development of the ice-snow economy in the international market. The research aims to provide practical paths for enhancing the international competitiveness and deepening global cooperation of Jilin Province’s ice-snow industry.
