Abstract In response to typical problems such as the lag in updating the content of software development courses in vocational colleges , and insufficient endogenous motivation among students , this paper proposes a teaching reform method emphasizing the integration of " post , course , competition and certification" and based on " fostering moral integrity and shaping character" .By promoting moral integrity and character building and integrating " post , course , competition and certification" ,the software development course teaching reform in vocational colleges is implemented by using the Java EE enterprise-level application development courses as carriers.The comparison of the teaching effectiveness before and after the curriculum reform reveals that the software development course teaching, practice based on the integration of " post , course, competition and certification" with the background of " fostering moral integrity and shaping character" can promote the alignment of course content with industry standards and effectively stimulate students' intrinsic motivation.This method enhances the students' professional competitiveness and also provides a reference for teaching reforms of computer-related courses in vocational colleges.
