Abstract Against the backdrop of common prosperity, the high-quality development of higher vocational education serves as a key means to address the inadequate and unbalanced development. However, the high-quality development of higher vocational education in Jilin Province has been progressing slowly, constrained by such factors as imperfect governance structures, mismatched professional settings, single funding sources, severe brain drain, and insufficient in-depth integration of industry and education. Corresponding optimization paths are proposed: improving the cross-departmental collaborative governance mechanism, dynamically adjusting professional settings, expanding diversified funding channels, optimizing industrial layout to enhance talent attraction, and deepening the integration of industry and education to build a long-term cooperative ecosystem.
