Abstract The internationalization of higher education is imperative for the advancement of China's higher education sector and a strategic choice to attain global excellence. Singapore, renowned for its exceptional educational standards, serves as an exemplary model for Chinese universities, particularly local institutions. This paper comprehensively examines Nanyang Technological University's internationalization strategy in terms of its educational philosophy, management model, teaching organization, and scientific research. Furthermore, it critically explores the implications in promoting internationalization strategies and fostering global talent development in weaker local universities in China.
