Abstract In the PLC practice teaching of process control, by establishing the object in the SIMIT software to achieve the process control simulation system, the difficulty to simulate the controlled device can be effectively solved. Experiments indicate that the simulation control system based on SIMIT has the advantage to accurately simulate the control process of controlled device without real experimental facilities, as well as the features of easy operation and flexible development. In this paper, a coating production process is illustrated to introduce the simulation process of process industry based on SIMIT.
