Abstract As far as today’s Chinese literary creation is concerned，no matter we are thinking about a way out
for its own development，or trying to open up a“new era”，we can not ignore the fact that Chinese elements are
always used in literary creation．However， in the global context of cultural diversity， Chinese literature can not
be truly“behind the closed door”．So， in a global multicultural environment， as the Chinese literary creation
sticks to the inherent qualities of the Chinese literature， it should also intake more beneficial elements of
Western literature to realize fusion，which will not only infuse new kernel for Chinese literary creation，but also
explore a new way to develop Chinese literature．
