In the new era, in order to carry out ideological and political work throughout the whole process of education and teaching, and to realize the full-range and all-round education of foreign language courses, it is necessary to reform college English teaching in view of the lack of Chinese ideological and cultural content in textbooks, the lack of ideological and political education elements in teaching priorities, and the outdated methods of ideological and political education.
