Abstract
This paper introduced the synthesis and characterization of side chain amino-modified silicone oil. Side chain amino-modified silicone oil was prepared by Hexamethyldisiloxane (MM), octamethycyclotetrasiloxane (D4) and N,β-aminoethy-γ-aminopropylmethy dimethoxysilane (KH-602) through ring-opening polymerization. Through the analysis of viscosity, yield, and parallel experiments, the optimal dosage of MM, KH-602 and tetramethylammonium hydroxide (equivalent ratio) were obtained during the process of experiment. Furthermore, the structure and properties of side chain amino-modified silicone oil was characterized by various analytical techniques, including Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), viscosity meter, and thermogravimetric analyzer. According to the analytical test results, the side chain amino-modified silicone oil possess excellent thermal stability and has crucial potential application value in the production and preparation of carbon fiber oil.
