Abstract This article analyzes the importance of ideological and political education in Higher Mathematics teaching and expounds the significance of national and cultural self-confidence brought to students by the infiltration of mathematical culture. It focuses on discussing the methods of integrating ideological and political elements into Higher Mathematics teaching, and summarizes the problems encountered in the implementation of teaching and provides the solutions.
