Abstract Emotional empowerment is a key link to enhance the affinity of ideological and political courses in colleges and universities, which is related to the participation, affinity and empathy of ideological and political courses. The realistic dilemma of emotional interaction in online teaching of ideological and political courses is that the emotional factors of teaching content need to be explored, the discourse mode needs to be optimized, and the dialogue environment needs to be constructed. This paper attempts to explore the practical path of the emotion-empowered ideological and political course in colleges and universities from the aspects of teaching content, method and environment, so as to improve the effectiveness of teaching and make the online ideological and political course "live".
