Course assessment is not only an important part of personnel evaluation, but also an important standard to test the quality of talent cultivation. It’s an important for higher vocational colleges to effectively carry out the assessment of courses and realize the "ideological and political" education function in the teaching of the courses. The paper explores the reform of the methods of periodic assessment by taking the course of Automobile Electrical Equipment Structure and Maintenance as an example, which promotes the realization of curriculum assessment of ideological and political education objectives.
