Abstract In the 21st century marked by the rise of digitalization, the field of education is undergoing profound transformations. ChatGPT provides students with highly interactive English learning scenarios, while bringing more teaching possibilities to teachers and making teaching more personalized and flexible. However, over-reliance on this tool can cause students to overlook real human interactions, and issues of data privacy and AI bias can arise. Therefore, educators need to maintain a balance with traditional teaching methods while introducing new technologies to ensure that students have a comprehensive educational experience.
