The idea of "three-whole education" provides a new direction for the ideological and political work in colleges and universities in the new era.  As the backbone of the "three-whole education" team, college counselors play an essential role in the implementation of the conception.  This paper first highlights the importance of college counselors' work from the perspective of "three-whole education", and then analyzes the current situation of college counselors' work with SWOT analysis, putting forward relevant optimization measures for college counselors' work according to relevant results of the analysis.
