Abstract
English writing is a skill that English majors must master and one of the important indicators to measure their learning ability. Writing ability cannot be ignored at any time. However, the traditional English writing teaching model cannot meet the current needs of the training of applied talents in universities. The appearance of the flipped classroom teaching model provides a new direction for the teaching of English writing. Based on Constructivism and process writing, this study constructs an English writing flipped classroom teaching model, applies the model in teaching practice and assesses its effectiveness. It is hoped that the research could shed light on effectively utilizing flipped classroom to promote English writing for English majors.
