Combined with the characteristics of Automobile Design and the requirements of talent training plans for vehicle engineering specialty, this paper analyzes the applicability of case teaching method and introduces the implementation scheme of case teaching method applied to all links of teaching. After two years of teaching practice, the teaching effect of case teaching has been proved to be significantly improved, students' learning initiative and professional quality have all been improved. At the end of the paper, the development direction of the teaching mode of this course and instructions in application are introduced as well.
