Abstract
The paper compares the two groups of higher vocational students who are upgraded from secondary vocational colleges and from regular enrollment in average test scores and pass rates of three common required courses and seven other professional courses to survey the learning condition of successional students in higher vocational stage. Through the research, it is found that the average score of successional students is significantly lower than the other group, whereas their professional courses are evidently higher than their English and other common required courses.
