Exploration on the New Experimental Teaching Mode of Material Chemistry in Local Engineering Colleges

Abstract
Experimental teaching is an important part of cultivating students' practical ability and innovative ability in the material chemistry specialty teaching of undergraduate course. In addition, driven by the construction of experimental teaching demonstration center and professional engineering certification, the status and importance of experimental teaching has gradually become more prominent. According to the characteristics of Material Chemistry, aiming at the problems existing in the experimental teaching process of material chemistry in Jilin Institute of Chemical Technology, it is proposed to set up four kinds of experimental teaching modules: professional compulsory experiment, professional elective experiment, large-scale platform experiment and personalized characteristic experiment. According to different professional directions, the design, comprehensive and innovative experimental topics are selected for students to construct a new mode of experimental teaching of Material Chemistry. At the same time, the experimental teaching methods and means are optimized, the teaching management system and the evaluation methods are reformed, and a new operational mechanism is formed so as to improve the quality of experimental teaching.
