摘要 

本研究尝试从分析中国内地高校本科生学术英语EAP教学现状和通用学术英语教材出版现状来探索通用学术英语核心技能体系构建问题。基于以上两个问题,本文构建了通用学术英语9大核心基本技能体系并建议教师根据该技能体系进行相关教学材料的编写,以期树立通用学术英语教师的科学发展观,进而促进中国大学通用学术英语有效教学。

Abstract: 

This study attempts to explore the construction of the essential academic skills of the English for General Academic Purposes (EGAP) from the analysis of the current situation of EAP teaching to the undergraduate students and the publication of the EGAP textbooks in mainland China. Based on the above two issues, this paper constructs the nine essential EGAP skills and recommends that teachers design the relevant teaching materials according to the skill system, in order to establish the scientific development concept of EGAP teachers, and thus to promote the effective EGAP teaching in the Chinese college EFL context.
