Abstract: 

Matrix Theory is a mathematical theory with practical value and it is an important course for cultivating postgraduates' logical thinking ability and innovation ability. This paper analyzed the problems existing in the teaching of Matrix Theory for graduate students in Jilin Institute of Chemical Technology. According to the current graduate education direction and training requirements as well as the purpose of the course, it proposes the specific implementation strategy of Matrix Theory teaching from three aspects: teaching content, teaching means and teaching evaluation.
