The development
of artificial intelligence technology will promote the intelligent development
of the field of instrumentation and measurement. Establishing a measurement and
control technology and instrumentation major with intelligent features is an
effective approach to cultivate high-quality, interdisciplinary application-oriented
talents in "AI+" era. In order to adapt to the comprehensive
development of strategic emerging industries such as the new generation of
information technology, artificial intelligence, and high-end equipment, the
cultivation of talents in Measurement and Control Technology and Instrumentation
needs to take measures such as adding AI-related courses, promoting the
construction of AI-empowered measurement and control professional disciplines,
optimizing the curriculum system of intelligent instruments, and strengthening
the construction of intelligent training bases. These efforts aim to promote
the development of new industrialization, enhance independent innovation
capabilities, and stimulate innovation vitality. This paper discusses the
necessity of cultivating professionals specialized in Measurement and Control
Technology and Instrumentation with characteristics of artificial intelligence from
the perspectives of discipline construction, curriculum adjustment, and
training bases, thereby promoting the application and development of artificial
intelligence technology in this field.
