Comparison of Abdominal and Lumbar Muscle Endurance Evaluation Indexes and Test Methods in Student's Physical Fitness Test between China and Foreign Countries
In order to continuously optimize the method of endurance test for lumbar and abdominal muscles in Chinese students' physical health test, this study analyzes four standard evaluation indexes and test methods. In the abdominal muscle endurance test, a moderately uniform rhythm-number counting method can reflect muscle endurance better; Curl-up is scientific in terms of using the hip flexor muscles restrictedly and avoiding lumbar injuries, but the 3 seconds per time rhythm test may cause hypoxic effects such as premature neck fatigue and dizziness; it is beneficial to the proactive force of abdominal muscles by folding arms, at the same time, lowering the mandible to the chest. Sit-up which is done by pressing too much of the feet is risky of inducing lumbar spine injury and pain in the lower back, so the hip joint action should be restricted, and it emphasizes the bending of the torso by using abdominal muscles.
