Food Safety is an important compulsory course for undergraduates majoring in Food Science and Engineering. according to the characteristics of this course, the author carries out practical teaching reform from the aspects of training objectives, teaching methods and assessment methods. The class of 2017 students of this major acceptedthe reform and obtained better teaching effect compared with the class of 2013 and 2016 who have been trained under the traditional teaching mode.
