Ca2Zn4Ti15O36:Pr3+red long lasting phosphorescent materials were prepared by sol-gel method.The microstructure and optical properties of the solid solution were characterized by X ray diffraction (XRD), Raman spectroscopy (Raman), excitation spectrum and emission spectrum. The results of XRD analysis show that samples calcined at 1050 ℃ for 22 h possessed, the peak value of XRD diffraction peak is the highest and the crystallinity is the best. The grain size of the sample is between 100nm-200nm. Raman results showed that the doping intensity of Pr did not change the peak intensity, indicating that the doping amount of Pr had little effect on the surface properties of the samples. The excitation and emission spectra show that when the sintering temperature is 800℃, the peak value of excitation and emission is the strongest and the excitation peak is 312nm. The emission peak is 614nm.
