新文科背景下高校英语视听说课程建设探索

摘要 

英语视听说是英语专业核心课程之一,在复合型英语人才培养方面起着重要作用。随着人才培养模式在新文科背景下做出调整,新文科建设要求英语视听说课程转变思路,重新进行课程定位,摆脱以往重语言技能,轻专业内涵的传统教学模式。教师利用翻转课堂把各学科基础知识融入课程内容,在培养学生的英语语言技能的同时,不断提升其跨学科知识水平,使学生能成长为适应新时代发展的复合型英语人才。

Abstract: 

Audio-Visual-Oral English is one of core courses for English majors, which plays a significant role in the cultivation of interdisciplinary English talents. With the adjustment of talent training mode under the background of the new liberal arts, the audio-visual-oral English course is required to be defined afresh and change the traditional teaching method which attaches importance to language skill training and neglects the infiltration of professional connotation. Teachers should integrate the basic knowledge of various subjects into the curriculum content in the flipped classroom, which enables students to possess more profound English knowledge and cross-subject knowledge while developing their English language skills so that students can grow into interdisciplinary English talents who can adapt to the development of the new era.
