Analysis of Cross-cultural Layered Decoding in Film and TV Programs Aims to Cultivate Students' Intercultural Communication Ability: Taking Kung Fu Panda 3 as an Example
One of the ways for cultivating students' intercultural communicative competence based on the local international education model is to use the visual and fascinating features of film and television programs to stimulate students' interest in learning and abstract thinking. This article chooses Kung Fu Panda 3, which is a representative fusion of Chinese and Western cultural characteristics. It is an animated film produced by American DreamWorks and Oriental DreamWorks. In the analysis of the works, the iceberg theory is used to hierarchically decode the cross-cultural factors in the film, and concludes with cross-cultural sociological thinking. At the same time, it emphasizes the important role of the cross-cultural layered decoding existing in film and television programs for cultivating students' intercultural communication skills.
